Like the video says, on December 17 of this year we will be kissing NSFW freedom of art goodbye from Tumblr. I seriously doubt people will have time to completely ERASE their YEARS of hard work from Tumblr before it's deadline.

The reasoning for Tumblr's sudden decision doesn't make any sense either because there were alternative ways to get rid of the Child Porn Spambots. Even if you don't like NSFW you have to admit, with Tumblr's years of being a free site, WHY did they suddenly start now with this "NSFW Cleanse"? The only theory I can come up with was because its NOT actually about the porn spam. Because lets face it, what site hasn't dealt with this kind of problem? Simply tell the folks on the platform to REPORT and the staff does the rest.

Tumblr....was this because of the fact your APP got REMOVED from the Appstore? Is that it? Tumblr never made these kinds of stupid decisions before until then. If there's another possible reason then please give your theory in the comment section.

If you really think you need that SWEET PLACE in the Appstore for YOUR livelihood Tumblr then what about the people on your site? Not only are you DESTROYING yourself and creative freedom you are destroying the artist on your platforms livelihood. Don't let Tumblr brainwash you despite your mindset of thinking NSFW works are gross. You can have your opinion but regardless, Tumblr will destroy itself because for YEARS it has been a FREE for all site. It might as well be considered an all Adult Site at this point :/ Heck that's pretty much the only reason why people use Tumblr. To have a Haven to creatively EXPRESS themselves. Besides, Tumblr has had shit going down for YEARS with people bickering about art pieces, about ships, about non-child-friendly works. So....WHY? Why are you only NOW making such an INSANE decision because of spambots? Not only that but WHY are you sending a broken bot to clear out your messes FOR YOU? It's hurting Artist because the bot is SO DAMN BROKEN! Its DELETING NON-NSFW works! DON'T PUNISH the ARTIST! JUST THE SPAMBOTS! We also couldn't give 2 sh*ts about you losing your app from the appstore! Your going to destroy your entire site because of this cleanse!

Try to look into the discussions on the petition so you'd know its more than just a need for erotic shizz. Don't let the fact their cleansing NSFW works sway you.
