Trams pass up and down the road outside Crystal Palace station (possibly Anerley Hill) in south London one evening. The walls of the station are covered with a variety of printed adverts, including signs to the low level station (one of two that served the Crystal palace) and a faded sign for the 'Crystal Palace Picture House' can be seen above the station. The trams are also covered in advertisements for products such as corned beef and the Morning Post. The impressive glass building itself looms above the scene in the distance along with one of the two water towers that flanked the grounds.
