When Katrina Lashea started practicing yoga over 30 years ago, she often found that she was the only person of color, male or female, in any of her classes. Now she and her business partner, Jean-Marie Moore, co-own Yoga Anasa in Oakland, a welcoming space founded on the idea that yoga offers benefits for everyone, no matter their age, race, or what brought them to the mat in the first place.
