The Exalted Warrior Foundation helps returning veterans to reconnect with both themselves and their loved ones. Warriors with amputations, traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries have benefited from the gentle motion and sense of community offered by weekly classes from Annie Okerlin and Nick Caris, Exalted Warrior’s instructors. Nick is a disabled veteran himself, and swears by yoga and meditation as the most effective treatment he’s received since returning to civilian life.
